Tuesday afternoon the City of Rome hosted counselor representative Osamu Yoshizumi from Kumamoto Japan at city hall.

Mr. Yoshizumi visited Rome on behalf of the Mayor of Kumamoto City, Kazufumi Onishi.

Rome Mayor Sundai Stevenson presented Mr. Yoshizumi with a key to the city to celebrate the relationship between the two cities.

Rome Georgia and Kumamoto City have been sister cities since May of 1995.
