We have this traffic note for motorists in the Armuchee area.

The installation of a proposed sewer tie-in will close traffic on Old Summerville Road at Armuchee High School on Monday.

Thompson Grading & Clearing expects the roadway to be closed from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.

No through traffic will be allowed in the area of the high school due to road conditions during construction.

Detours will be Stonebridge Drive and Walenda Drive.

No traffic will be allowed to access Old Summerville Road from the school property.

Crews will be present for traffic control.
