The Rome City Commission has approved a resolution regarding establishing rental fees for the Forum River Center.

The city has assumed ownership of the Forum as a result of a sales tax distribution agreement with Floyd County approved in 2022.

”Like all the other city facilities that we rent out, this fee schedule would be very comparable,” said Rome City Manager Sammy Rich. “We break out the rates for various and sundry facilities like the arena down to Rotary Plaza. Then of course, we have chairs and equipment. Sufficed to say, we want your event to be successful.”

It will cost $4,500 to rent the arena, and $2,500 if it’s an open-floor event.

The Coosa Room will cost $1,500 to rent.

The Etowah Room is $400, the Oostanaula Room is $200, and the Rotary Plaza will cost $450 to rent.
