Two people are facing charges of 2nd-degree cruelty to children and possession of methamphetamine following their arrests at their Amberwood Trail home Saturday.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
33-year-old Keith Robert Lee and 39-year-old Taylor Underwood had suspected methamphetamine inside a dresser drawer that an 18-month-old, a 2-year-old, and an 11-year-old child had access to.
Underwood also left a THC gummy which the 2-year-old had access to.
The child ingested the gummy and had to be hospitalized.
