Rome Police are investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store on Dean Avenue that occurred last week.
According to a Rome Police Department report:
Surveillance video showed a man in a hoodie and a mask approaching the Qwik Way from East 19th Street on Tuesday of last week.
He is then seen jumping over the counter and chasing the clerk around the store with a large knife.
The suspect threatened to kill the clerk if he did not show him where the money was.
The suspect, who was also wearing brown work boots, took approximately $3,000.
