Rome Police Officers responded to a residence on Pollock Street Tuesday and were told that a bag of wigs was stolen from a vehicle.

According to a Rome Police Department report:

There were six wigs in the bag.

Two gray wigs, two black and gray wigs, a dark black wig, and a brown wig were stolen from the trunk of the vehicle.

The combined value of the wigs is an estimated $659.

The victim said the theft occurred the day before, adding she did not call police earlier because she had a doctor’s appointment and it slipped her mind.
