Woman charged with theft by taking

A Coosa woman is accused of selling items that belonged to someone else. 

According to an arrest warrant: 

35-year-old Amanda Michelle Rudeseal sold a refrigerator, a range stove, and a dishwasher that was the property of the owner of the apartment she was renting. 

The combined value of the items is listed at $2,236. 

Rudeseal is charged with felony theft by taking. 

Man accused of using someone else’s financial transaction card

A North Rome man has been arrested on warrants charging him with financial transaction card fraud. 

According to the warrants: 

22-year-old Ashton Jase Duvall used a woman’s card to purchase just over $772 in tools and various home improvement items at Home Depot on June 2.  

He returned the next day and made another the $341 in purchases using the same victim’s card.
