The ribbon has been cut on a new campus for Rome Middle School, just across the road from Rome High School and the old campus. With ground being broken on the project in 2023, this project has been years in the making. And the final result of all of the hard work of various architects, builders, and the community is finally ready for students in the coming fall.
This building comes as the result of the ever-growing number of students enrolled in the Middle School. Which was initially built with 700 students in mind, but the student population has ballooned to over 1,000. This new building is built with an astounding 1900 students in mind.
Many staff, builders, architects, and students attended and spoke at the ribbon-cutting ceremony, all excited for the coming semester.
