-Floyd County Jail records-
A Coosa man was arrested after allegedly following up on a threat to damage a building on Pearson Road.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
43-year-old Jimmy Lee Ashworth poured gas on a shed and then came back on May 17 and used a torch lighter to start a fire.
He then left the building burning.
Ashworth also ran from the police.
He is charged with 1st-degree arson, terroristic threats and acts, criminal trespass, and misdemeanor obstruction of law enforcement.
