Cyclists have taken to the streets in the hundreds in Rome this morning as the Big BRAG left Rome this morning. BRAG (Bycicle Ride Across Georgia) is a yearly week-long event where cyclists take to the streets and ride an average of 55 miles a day between cities and towns.
With cyclists beginning to trickle onto the road beginning at 4:00am, the large “start” of todays cycle began at 7:00am with hundreds of cyclists lining up outside of the Forum in downtown Rome, ready to ride.
Today’s ride begins in Rome and ends in Cave Spring, with a detour through alabama.
