Report: Man flees from traffic stop, found with drugs and weapons
A man from Tunnel Hill was arrested on multiple charges after he allegedly sped away from police on Tuesday.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
A vehicle driven by 44-year-old Christopher David Sisco Jr. was stopped on Turner McCall Boulevard for a brake light violation.
Sisco fled at a high rate of speed, driving on the wrong side of the road, before eventually stopping.
He was then found with a baggie of methamphetamine, a baggie of amphetamine pills, a digital scale, and a glass smoking device.
A K9 search of the vehicle turned up more loose meth along with four firearms, multiple magazines and ammo.
Sisco is charged with fleeing or attempting to elude, four counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of meth, possession of meth with the intent to distribute, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug-related objects, possession of drugs not in the original container, obstruction of law enforcement, reckless driving, failure to maintain a lane, too fast for conditions, driving without a valid license, driving without insurance, and a brake light violation.
A passenger in the vehicle, 46-year-old Starla Desiree Dean of Trion, was also arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Woman accused of making a threat
A Rome woman was arrested on Tuesday at her Burr Drive residence on a felony count of terroristic threats and acts.
According to the arrest warrant:
39-year-old Kayla Leigh Olive was recorded speaking about “scattering her brains all over the pavement” while referring to the victim.
The victim currently has custody of Olive’s children.
Woman charged with meth possession
A Rome woman is facing drug charges following her arrest at her Maple Avenue home on Tuesday.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
38-year-old Delsha Miranda Tate resisted being placed into handcuffs, pulling away from and attempting to run from police.
She was also found with suspected methamphetamine.
Tate is charged with possession of meth and obstruction of law enforcement.
