Rome Police officers responded to Riverbend Drive on Wednesday after a vehicle struck the Atlanta Allergy & Asthma office near Kroger.

According to the Rome Police Department, a 60-year-old female driver’s vehicle came to rest inside the building.

The receptionist at the office had seen something out of sorts and moved patients away from the windows and walls.

There were no significant injuries to patients or bystanders, and the driver was conscious and alert.

Due to heavy structural damage, the Fire Marshal also responded to the scene.

The incident occurred at around 1:27 p.m. on Wednesday.
