The Christmas season in Rome and Floyd County officially kicks off on Tuesday night.
The Rome Christmas Parade will make its way up Broad Street beginning at 7 p.m.
Linda Hatcher, who is currently the local Chair and Coordinator for Toys for Tots, is this year’s grand marshal.
Entrants may begin lining up as early as 4:30 PM, and judging will begin at 6:00 PM
This year’s theme is “Christmastime in the City.”
The weather forecast shows that showers should be ending during the morning hours on Tuesday, but if needed, the rain date is Thursday, December 4.
